What is Controls Management ? :-

“Controls management is defined as taking the company aspirations (as defined by the company    directors/Project Managers) then ;

creating and maintaining policies/process’s and procedures capable of allowing the aspirations to be achieved then ;
Implement/monitor/track/report back on where things are working or need addressed”.

All projects have two main components ;

1) Doing the Job

2) Planning , Monitoring & Controlling the Job

In most cases doing the job is the easier part ; controlling the job is harder , mainly through each component part acting against the others (i.e. Time v Money v Quality , etc).
